Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very good take here smile.gif Your palm muting sounds much better, you must have been working on it ! wink.gif

The only quibbles I'd mention is the tapped arpeggio was a little off.. and also the whole piece would sound even better if you were to put some vibrato on the all the target notes at the end of a run.

But, the piece is a Paul Gilbert piece full of alternate picking and you nailed that pretty good so thumbs up from me ! cool.gif

I agree with all Ben said here. It's not an easy lesson but you can improve it for sure.

Very nice take, man.

I agree with Ben completely. I would add that you missed some phrasing and vibratos as well.

What I'd do is isolate all the fast parts and play them untill they are perfect. Then play the whole thing and add some phrasing and vibratos.

Cheers
