It's not metallica, thats a cover. As far as the song itself, it's not bad but I think the live version they played/released is going to be worked on more and will sound better when recorded for the CD (assuming it makes it on the cd, which they said it might not).

This is a pretty good version of it though.

Yeah, definitely not Metallica, but a really close cover I would say.
