GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Hello from Holland

Hey All,

Ill try to keep it short.
My name is Barry and im 25 years old from Holland.
Recently ive picked up listening to rock music again ( Mostly Rammstein or Slipknot ) which got me i wanted to learn how to play aswell.
Thought of id for over 2 years and my girlfriend made the discision for me and gave me BC rich guitar ( Warlock?? ) its the one from slipknot.. i dont know if its any good but it looks good.
so now i hope im able to make her regret she did it by blowing her ears off
I dont know much about playing guitar but im very motivated in learning and i hope to be able to do so here.
Many thanks going to browse some forums and hope to be able to learn stuff

If anyone could give me some tips of what lessons to start with since ive never touched a guitar before, it would be appriciated

Ello there Barry of Holland,

I'd recommend you get crackin' on the Powerchords lesson as it's easy and sounds good and then do beginner scales and eventually beginners licks. Also throw in the mtronome lesson somewhere as well.

Oh and thats a cool girlfriend you got, my girlfriend keeås hiding my guitars as a part of "hide and seek" game..
