This downstroke/upstroke feature in GP isn't actually the common picking type, that'd be 2 options far right,pickstroke up or down. So I take downstoke or upstroke feature,it offers time durrating, you pick what fits you best and it sounds like real raking, Per example,you have 4 strings with dead notes(all together of course,on same spot) you pick 8th as duration and rake lasts one 8th note.
