This guy is so good! Ive been following him for some time and just discovered his latest album which is really good. It's got ridiculous riffs and long legato jazzy runs with the out of know where high gain lead just for a moment... He has 3 albums the first is Rockier Jazz, the second is very out there in mystical lands and orchestral, the third reminded me of an Aristocrats style thing.

Nice!! The guy is clearly a monster player and can compose some truly interesting bits. The way he weaves it all together is pretty darn amazing.

Yep Daniele is kinda unique in the sense that he can actually right very cool guitar songs - there is also this video where he gets to play with one of his [and my!] heroes:

In this video it is worth noticing how relaxed Greg's timing is and how he finds 'the pocket' instantly. Also at 02:45 he is preparing to get SHREDDED by Daniele wink.gif

Awesome playing by these guys! I wish the mix/sound was better. I couldn't help notice though. Is that the Antimatter backing track? Crazy fun backing to step out on, I think I have a copy of it somewhere on an old PC that I don't use anymore. Sinisa turned me on to it when he was doing the video chat lessons. cool.gif

Sounds very interesting - can you give us a link to the backing you're speaking about? (if possible)

Sorry Kris, I actually looked for it after watching the video here but couldn't find it. I am fairly certain that is the same backing that I got from Sinisa a while back when he was doing video chat lessons. I bet he has a copy or knows where the backing can be found.
Maybe I am mistaking the track but here is an improv that I found that I think may be the same backing that Howe and Gottardo were playing to in the video that Jim shared with us.

Sounds really lyrical and cool - well done! Did you take skype lessons with Mr Howe?

I did take a few but honestly I squandered the experience. I wasn't ready for the lessons and the skype quality was terrible. It was very inspiring and I did learn a ton but I could have made way better use sitting with mr Howe for and hour...
