Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Sounds very good, and interesting with the chorus tone. The playing is quite good and even, and I think you deserve a 10. But... I would advise that you remove that pinky from the pickguard when playing this type of rhythm as it will only slow you down along the way.

That's a very good take! It's a 9 for me only because you could add more strength to your vibratos... like Denes do in the original version. Check it out and try to imitate it. By the way... this is an excellent take! wink.gif

I would try and get a tone that has very mild gain on it, rather than use a chorus type tone because it's a little too clean smile.gif

To get the real effect of this riff you'll want to get the vibrato heavier and wider but it was all very well played cool.gif

What are we going to do when you're on holiday ??? ohmy.gif

Well, to complete Ben's observation, aside from crunching up the tone a little, the harder you'll hit the strings, the more you'll obtain that aggressive sound - the secret lies in the attack of the right hand! have a super holiday mate!!

nothing much to add, very well played man, and i don´t think you need much more gain going on , but yeah, a bit more mids and a more agressive attack will make your sound fuller and dirty.

you need to HIT those strings like stevie man. great take.
