Sad but quite common.
 People forget to put their phones on vibrate quite often it seems. It can easily wreck things like a performance, a recital, a solo concerto, a wedding, a funeral, anything where people are focused and in a state of near spiritual communion. To have that ruined by simple inconsideration (one flip of a switch can put a phone on silent) is a sad statement. It would be cool if your own phone rang and you answered it mid performance and continued playing with one hand whilst you spoke.
