Sad but quite common. sad.gif People forget to put their phones on vibrate quite often it seems. It can easily wreck things like a performance, a recital, a solo concerto, a wedding, a funeral, anything where people are focused and in a state of near spiritual communion. To have that ruined by simple inconsideration (one flip of a switch can put a phone on silent) is a sad statement.

It would be cool if your own phone rang and you answered it mid performance and continued playing with one hand whilst you spoke. cool.gif

It's incredibly rude! One of the first things I do when I reach a place in which silence or other sounds should be heard in perfect harmony, is switch my phones on silent! It's common sense, if you ask me!
