Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Well played!! I dig the way you played this. It's well executed and I can tell you are having a good time and getting in to the piece which always makes it more fun to watch smile.gif Very solid muting, picking, fretting, pace, and tone. It's all there. I don't see anything to complain about to be honest. Some great pedal point work here! isolate one or two of these and see how far up the metronome you can ramp them and still keep them clean!!
Solid 8

Very nice!

The only thing I can comment on here is the last run with string skipping (0:55) where your hands are not quite as synced.

Given that you master this lesson, you could challenge yourself and try to play this sam piece but without any picking at all (using legato). When you are able to do that - try playing it with picking again. You will see how your hands will be magically in sync and your tone will be beyond amazing thanks to this. This is obviously beyond the scope of the lesson, but it is how I go about practicing technique nowadays.

You get a 9 from me!

Hey there! Gladly I can say I have nothing to complain generally. Let's say that if 10 is being almos ta computer, not a human, than you deserved 9. Moemnts of hesitation that caused sync issues are so small that even in the pro studio it would be hardly considered to redo the take of this quality. Well done. Thanx for taking my lesson to this level.
