...and I wasn't expecting it to be this good smile.gif

Friend of mine got it, connected to the output of his mesa's OD channel. As he changed the cab. I guessed it and nailed marshall, Mesa, Fender cab.s which I personally choose. So I guess if my blind test had successed, then the impulses are good enough smile.gif

Only only thing I'm not sure about are the eq's (cab. size) adjustments, it sounded like the eq was a bit too narrow when tweaking so not all settings were great but wasn't really hard either to find a decent setup.

It also worked well with my friend boss ml-2, so its safe to say amp-like sounding pedals can work like a preamp if needed (there are some youtube vid. examples about that). I know from the web., some connects their low-to-mid priced processors to it and it really enhances the sound (wish I had my gt-1 with me to try this).

Also can work as either stereo or mono. One out can be flat while other has imulse incase you want to record a flat signal to be changed later...can even blend 2 amps to each side for a really complex sound.

So for stage use, processor upgrade or if you hate dealing with 200+ impulses you downloaded from web its a simply yet very useful product.

so is it like some sort of 'two notes load box' deal, if you had for example a Marshall head and no cabinet, you'd just plug this into the head and then into a DAW?

Unfortunatly it works line level only, so the head/amp must have a line out but (!) to my knowledge you can send the signal from fx loop of the amp-to this pedel-then to your soundcard.

The only thing I'm not sure of is I readed a comment once that tube-amps poweramp may overheat if the signal split from fx loop won't return to the poweramp. I don't think this is true but since I'm not an expert can't be certain.

So you don't get the poweramp sound with this or a similar unit, thats why compared to something like the two notes load box its very affordable. Also this pedal also has limited cab.sim.s inside it, but even for professionals to me the provided ones are enough...

Ah right, I see now smile.gif I watched a couple of demos. The Andertons one didnt do it any favours. Mike Hermans demo had it sounding a lot better.
I like the idea of a load box, the two notes one in particular. If I new about that before I got my Kemper I may have got that instead cause I have a 100w Marshall head that I cant use at home.
