Feb 2 2012, 10:42 PM	Learning Rock Star Posts: 245 Joined: 19-November 11 From: Waunfawr, Wales	I've been asked to give guitar lessons to an 8 year old boy with no experience of playing. I've been giving lessons to a couple of guys now for about a year but they all knew a few chords and how to play to an extent. But I'm wondering how to begin with him, do I try and teach him a few easy open chords maybe a simple little tune or just work on his handling of the instrument? How have you guys approached teaching youngsters Just realised there's a similar post on so sorry if it seems i'm asking the same thing.
