Heroes del Silencio is a band from Zaragoza, Spain, they are perhaps the most crucial band in latin rock, in my opinion, next to Soda Stereo, they are the best bands that ever existed in music in spanish.
Well, I wouldn´t be surprised if none of you has ever heard of Heroes del Silencio, because their songs are all in spanish. They were pretty big in the mid 90´s, once they had realased all their albums.
However, there is one thing to notice... Juan Valdivia, the lead guitarist is one of the best, definitely, not only his style is amazing, but his technique which is awesome is what makes me think he is so great. Enrique Bunbury is the lead singer, who is also impressive, their songs sound so powerful with him on them!
They are actually very big in the spanish speaker countries, they were reunited recently to give their last tour together, I went to see them, and they were just amazing, they sold every seat in 2 dates in the foro sol in Mexico city, which is a huge arena for about 35,000 people.

It is definitely worth it to listen to them, never-mind if you don´t understand the lyrics, the guitar is just amazing. Try to download this songs which are some of their best: Deeshacer el mundo, Entre Dos Tierras, Apuesta por el Rock n´roll, Rueda, Fortuna!, La sirena Varada, and iberia sumergida, and La Chispa Adecuada (This one is their most famous song). There are of course many more! Their songs are great, live, and recorded. As a matter of fact, they just released the cd and dvd of their last tour, and the great majority of the songs in the selection were recorded in Mexico City because they have a very big audience here...

You can also check them on you tube, try to look for ¨deshacer el mundo¨it is a rehearsal, try to listen to the solo!
