Hi Tim, yes, the video is now working. It obviously needs more work so keep on practising it, focusing on timing and hands sync.
About the lesson choice, which other one do you suggest? -------------------- My lessons

Hi Tim, that Al Di Meola lesson needs to be practised much slower to be able to play the licks tight, with both hands in sync. The problem appears mostly on the faster licks, so you could also isolated this parts for specific practice.
About a new lesson, I think that you have many on the way, however, it's important to keep motivation. Have you ever tried this one? https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Altern...king-workout-3/ -------------------- My lessons

Hi Tim! yes, this is better! There is work to do regarding timing, bending, and polishing some fast licks, but it's a good one for the REC to receive deep feedback from some of us. Go for it!

Hey man. I have a question. Because a lot of People learn licks for improvising but I don't. I learn the theory and trie to study the intervals. I think that for me its better to first learn the theory bevind the modes and learn intervalls. The when i know all the theory i Will start learning licks and mix them into my playing. Sound this like a normal/good plan or is it not the normal way? Greetz There is not an only way to improvise, but your plan sounds interesting. It can be a good way to make your phrasing more personal, and unique. It's not the normal thing, but I'm sure that some of the most unique guitarists used a similar method. However, if you ever feel you lack of ideas, you can go for some licks. It never hurts. -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate,
the improvisation sounds nice, but I don't get the Dorian feel on this one. When playing modes, it's important to identify the characteristic note, that one that gives the mode the special tone and empathize it in your phrases. In the case of Dorian, the characteristic note is the major 6th. This improvisation sounds more like a Pentatonic minor solo. I think that this is a great initiative and that you should continue doing this type of stuff on a regular basis. The more you do it, the better everything will sound. Your ideas will become more consistent and your playing tighter.
This video has many good things. At first, I think that the idea is musical and that it's well arranged. I also think that this is genuine and that with the pass of time and songs, you'll be able to find your own voice on guitar. There are things to adjust in your playing that can be considered for future videos but also practice for this song. The lead guitar can sound tighter, and there is more room for vibrato, and dynamics. Check out some Mateus Asato vids for inspiration. -------------------- My lessons
