Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey man! The take is good, but I would suggest more attention on the bends and vibrato, as some of the notes are a bit under the tone. Listen to the original take and try to get all the bends in perfect pitch wink.gif Keep up the good work!

This is very good take with very nice tone and vibe. Such a nice solo. Like Cosmin said, vibrato and bending should be more precise, and vibrato more even. Another important thing is to keep the timing sharp. Although this is a slow solo, you should be tightly locked with the drums. Making those slides bit more sharper/faster will help greatly, they seem kinda "lazy".

Mr Coffee ! cool.gif I would agree with the guys that timing needs some attention. Although your vibrato and bending can improve, you show a lot of promise in these areas and your overall playing has a very likeable quality to it ! smile.gif

SO for me, the thing that would make the tune even better is to get those phrases in time.. get to know how they sit over the beat and then try to get them rolling smoothly as Jonathan does. It's the way that phrases are placed over the beat that can make the difference between a performance and an 'emotive' performance that truly grabs the listener. You're nearly there smile.gif
