Very good take one the lesson! There are some minor issues with timing but overall it was a good take and you did well with dead notes in the groove which was the point of the lesson. Regarding sound, try lowering bass frequencies and adding some mid range frequencies. When setting up the bass tone you want to start with natural (flat) position on your bass controls and on amp (amp simulator). Then from there you would add mids and some bass and treble on bass but in really small portions and subtle. You should be able to find a good bass tone around those flat positions - you should not end up having the bass pot turned all the way up or something to extremes. Good to see that you are catching up with the mtp material!
