I dunno know what reasons make You other guy's start to play the guitar, but mine was really to get some chicks,

If you want play the guitar only to get girls, you can just study 5 basic chords and then stop studying. So thing nobody here is playing the guitar to get girls.

cool video For me, the reason was not that great - I was bored  One day I took acoustic guitar and a notebook with chords cause I didn't have anything else to do that day. So I started.. and never got bored again

I'd seen the first one, really good Playimng the songs I love is my reason though At least these days
