Yep... as I read your first post I thought you should dig on the Fender site! It sounds like this is the guitar you really want, and Fender is putting out their best guitars ever... really. I have a strat 2009 and it's a dream. Go for it! cool.gif With the money you save drop some Bare Knuckles in there and go to town!

I would personally go for a Bareknuckle Holy Diver Humbucker and two slowhand single coils for that guitar, but that's my choice for 80's kinda sound with great rock leads and rythm. Ask Tim at bareknuckle for his advice on a vintage tone in that guitar, he usually knows best which to chose as he is making them himself^^
