Ok here are a couple of leedbreak's songs. Not quite speed licking stuff but I love recording and have been doing so for several years. My album is as amateur as it gets and is 6 songs long as I write better songs I knock the lesser one of the end maybe time I am 84 she will be ready to sell Gold LOL
The 1 first is more recent as in this year but it still is not a speed picking song but getting closer. It is not done and just stops at where I am at.
The 2 second one I did about 2 years ago, I know it is shabby but the end is really bad so bare with me.
Both have simple drums made with simple software.
I tried to save these as wma but they sounded even worse so I used mp3 instead.
Recording - Acid music
Drums PCdrummer Pro
Pod XT
1985 Charvel
Power tab - I tab out every song so I can remember what I played.
Song 1 Attached File  2007.mp3 ( 1014.39K ) Number of downloads: 301

First solo of 1st song in jpg format Attached Image

Song 2 Attached File  11.mp3 ( 1.94MB ) Number of downloads: 239

Comments are welcome, but go easy on me. If you do take the time to listen I really appreciated it very much.

That was really really cool!

Some of the best recordings on this sie easily.

I would LOVE to get my hands on those powertabs if you're willing to share.

I cant really come up with any negative feedback, it was very headbang-friendly and nicely recorded. Granted its in the middle of the night and my senses are a bit off but I loved this stuff.

cheers dude!

Ok, Steelkonsum.
Here is the one for the second song. Please remember I tabbed this just as a reference so if I needed to remember a part I could. Nothing is worse than trying the learn you own music by ear. It is nowhere close to the same timing as the song. Many parts don't play in the tab as they do in the song. And don't run the score checker LOLOLOLOLOL

Also at the end I started leaving the rhythm off the tab, and did add lib for many measures at the end, Lazy I guess but you will get the picture. By the way thanks for your pleasant comments, they really did make my day. I may upload a song or two later and the tabs are far more accurate for them as well as the first song.

Thanks agian and to kris for helping us all want a higher goal...

Hey proof, thanks....
I do not have video capabilities just yet but I will real soon. I don't figure anyone wants to see an old man trying to shred.
My history is very simple....
Age:
18-25 Played a lot partied harder, got no where other than the crazy train solo LOL
25-30 Not much partying but again, going no where other than a few cover tunes and never knew a 100% of any of them
30-34 No real change yet except the combine years of licks did look real cool.
35 Got to eat some dust from a 16 year old that could play any hammet solo, kid blow me mind.
36 Learned 10 Metallica songs completely and did real well. Got my first blood at being at a real accomplishment level, of course, I have forgotten these song today
37 started writing and learned more this way than every
40 joined GNC and see that I still have a ton of work to do.
Ironically I read here earlier today about the high thumb and have already start working on it LOLOL
I will go check your songs right now,

Paradise lost is the band. Gregor McKintosh might be the name of a band member - not sure though...

Hi Leedbreak m8,

Just had a quick listen to your songs, just one thing I thought you could maybe work on a little is the expression on the notes a little, the ability to play these notes is definatly there m8 can hear that for sure smile.gif but they sound a little lifeless almost alittle flat sometimes especially on some of the single notes, kinda hard to explain what I mean, maybe someone else can elaborate if they agree.

Apart from that nice one smile.gif

some of the runs sound nice m8 smile.gif
