Help: Can't Play Guitar Properly While Standing |

dear gmcers, i cant play the guitar while standing. the guitar body rests on my right thigh i can alternate pick normally but my left hand cant reach frets for penatonic scales... any help on this? Shorten the strap to get the guitar higher -------------------- My bands homepage

First adjust the strap so its on a comfortable level, do not care about how it looks.
And then its pretty much all about practice. Good luck |

Try to adjust strap that way so guitar is in almost the same position like when you're sitting.

altho lower may look cooler it does make it harder to play I think it looks much better having it high |

i have to agree that low strap looks cool. i dont see guitarists with high straps lol |

Ahh maybe it works for heavy metal.. i think so m8 I used to have guitar real low, but always kneeled for the fiddly parts, gave that up and went higher -------------------- |

It depends on what is comfortable to you. I like when it is high, goves me much more control of everything. Experiment

Practise while standing everything you play on stage and you will get it.

yea ..i had that problem before as well , shorten strap and just play alot standing up , soon you will get use to it and able to rock it up ... thx for advices guys |
