Welcome to what may turn out to be an awesome battle with the Instructors. smile.gif For those that don't know, the instructors are putting together a cover of Smoke On The Water for a possible advert for GMC which I think is great but we were not invited to the party laugh.gif So what better way to show them, do one ourselves! cool.gif

So here is who we have so far that have shown interest:

Superize
Caelumamittendum
Jeroenkole
Tolek
Outlaw2112
Siggum
wollace03
Canis
Smikey2006
Ennucleation
Matt23
Botoxfox
Chast
Nick325
Tjchep
Xicoria
Kaznie_NL
DeepRoots
SensE

Since this is a cover and not just a lead to a backing, i'm not setting any deadlines at this point. Once we get people that are definitely committed to doing this, I'll get a backing up and we'll work on who's doing what and how the arrangement will be worked out.

We need to act on this project as we are all in one big GMC Virtual Band so not to falter on any part of it. We want it to be the best it can be and hand it to the instructors with pride. smile.gif

For those of you that want to be apart of this, post up!

Cheers,
Steve

Yeah, I am definately up for this still. Can do either lead guitar or singing, I suppose. Though my singing isn't all that well:

http://geocities.com/progressivia/enigmatica2.wav - three year old recording.

On another note... is this video or audio? Can do both of course.

Let's not worry about it at this point Tolek, i think we may just end up with a mix of audio and video. smile.gif

I can do the rhythm as well.. Not to hard tongue.gif

EDIT: especialy the main riff for me, I'm sure I can do that wink.gif I don't know how hard the verse is, if it is equal to the intro/main riff, then I can do both if needed.

Thanks X and Kaz, got you guys added.

I am setting Friday, August 8 as the cut-off for signing up. After that, we will discuss who's going to do what. We need to put a GMC twist on this one to make it our own. cool.gif

Also, anybody want to do bass, keys, or vocals? I've got some of you in mind for vocals and keys tongue.gif but can anybody handle the bass?

OC, you out there? tongue.gif smile.gif

If I end up doing vocals, it'll probably be a little more rough and all compared to that recording up there. Want me to try and record a little sing-along tomorrow? tongue.gif
