> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi again Rhida! smile.gif

This lesson is also getting closer! The problem with this one was mostly the 16th notes which is still there but now it's a smaller issue. I think that your mind and right hand are getting used to this rhythm at this tempo and to go from one to the other smoothly.

As we said previously, continue practicing this lesson over the original lesson, and also isolate the last section and work on it because there is the main problem.

Keep on the hard work!

This is the best yet - I was so close to giving you an 8 today ! wink.gif

Your picking is so much more consistent, including the 16th notes. There isn't that scratchy tone problem that you had previously. The notes sound cleaner now. It's just the timing you've got to get right now.

It's probable that the 16th notes are pushing your limits of speed so it might sometimes feel as if you're lagging behind when you play them ? This is ok, you're teaching your picking hand that you want it to move faster so it will get with the program and you will get it sounding tighter as a result.

Great work !

Hey amigo,

Just as Ben said, I was tempted to give you an 8 as well after listening to the take, but since you are such a hard worker, I think this would've not been the best approach, as you can do much better than this take wink.gif

Now, as gabi suggested, this one needs more work until you get the timing as close to perfection as possible - but hey, you nailed the triplets very nicely and there's clearly a big progress occuring in your playing - keep it up!
