Very nice words Ben, highly motivating video and post. I'd better get to practice as well
Indeed, it's all about us having no limits, and practicing as much as possible. Goals seem so far away sometimes, but they are actually very near. The more the person is calmer and patient, better it can observe infinity ahead of him, that awaits to be explored. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

That was amazing! what a version!
What you said really hit me, I view guitar playing like that as well, it's like you chip away blocks slowly and painfully until the sculpture is just there and you can sort of "use" it anytime you want, And I agree that practice gets you there, so it's really important to keep motivated to practice...I did that by playing the stuff I like that, playing along and stuff, -------------------- Visit my:

That tribute is amazing! I like his two albums with tributes to great artists and bands...
I agree with your words about how to move to the next level... Practising is the key and nothing is impossible should be our main phrases... I use to write this phrases and put them at my studio when I'm working on something new and feel a bit frustrated because It seems like if I'm not improving. Steve Vai always has inspiring thoughts about this.. “The level of achievement that we have at anything, is a reflection, of how well, we were able to focus on it. Because the only thing that’s holding you back, is the way you’re thinking.” – Steve Vai -------------------- My lessons

You know I seen a quote the other day in the newspaper that this reminds me of, Henry Ford was quoted as saying, "Rather you believe you can or cannot do something, you're right." this is so true, because our own mental attitude determines to a large extent how good we become at anything, be it music, education, physical fitness, etc. -------------------- My Sound Cloud Profile: http://soundcloud.com/casinostrat

Yeah, I read where he has a lot of commercial endorsement deals too. Maybe he'd rather do that than be on the road all the time.
