You wake up in the morning and you look into your bathroom mirror, you take your razor out and go to work as you visciously shave your ugly mug tongue.gif , what style do you choose ?

I usually Alternate between different Styles.

but I try to go for the Van Dyck look, but then I eventually end up Clean Shaving Again!

i go with the vagrant standing in line at the soup kitchen look, mostly because I am too lazy to shave regularly, and when i do so, do it in the shower or bath without a mirror, and generally forget to take a look at how well I did the job.

If you are nearly always with your dog, who looks like a 65lb harmless goofball (see picture), you can get away with a lot.

edit: I just was at David's Eric Johnson lesson....he illustrates there a good example of the look I am describing. Sort of the "just got off a three day drunk look". Except he has no food stains on his tee shirt, you really need those to get that look just right.

Great lesson though!

I always do the clean-shaven thing, but I'm going to grow out a soul patch one of these days.

Goatee. I cant grow a full beard and if I shave I look way young. I'm 21, but 99% of the time I get 25. If I shave I get ID'd everywhere I go. and that's with a legal age of 19 here in BC

Least favorite has got to be mustache by itself.

"Fact is, nothing in the world bores me more than gear...If I played thru your rig, I would still sound like me. Van Halen would sound like Van Halen. Brian May...etc. Very early in my career I decided to focus on creating music and not being a guitar tech. Being a good guitar tech is a very different and extremely difficult job, so why not leave it to a pro?"
