I've been trying to sing this song but I can't get the emotion across as clearly he is singing about something that means something to him and I'm not. What are your favourite songs that bring a tear to your eyes. This song is beautiful. This is in my top 10 songs ever and I think it is incredible.

That song was really beautiful.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGlbFdvgius Agalloch - A Desolation Song. This is probably one of the most beautiful songs I know.

Also, I have to mention this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cf-as9rDie0 Anathema - Are you There?

Eddie Vedder is for sure one of my favorite singer and songwriter.
I love the "Into the Wild" soundtrack...

"Society" - http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy6iwP9Ux3A
"Long Nights" - http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=XlFhbUCk5kw

But a long time favorite is "Crazy Mary" - http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=1ziGoJBLnRA&...feature=related

Those were all amazingly beautiful songs!! rolleyes.gif

And that Pearl Jam song reminded me of the whole Eddie Vedder's soundtrack to the "Into the Wild" movie somehow - it's awesome too...

And here's one of my favourite emotional songs:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1kUjCtuaNw

People usually love it or hate it biggrin.gif

(Sorry for the anime vid - it's the only one available...)

Here's my pick
One of my new discoveries.AERYON
Best thing about it is it has nothing to do with love, death or hate and still sounds emotionally beautifull. Play it loud smile.gif
Magnificent voice (I don't even know the name of the singer wink.gif ) Nice guitars, keyboards and music in general. Can't stop listening to it.

Hello, I think that one of the most emotional songs would be a piece Epilogue for Lisa wrote be Shawn Lane - http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=IkLSoXSQcYQ . It doesen't have lyrics, but it gives so many emotions ... Rest in peace Shawn!

I remember shedding a tear when I first heard this song, and also it was one of those songs that I just had to learn how to play as soon as I heard it because I really connect to it.

RIP Jeff Buckley

Another song that can bring me to tears is Hallelujah, especially Jeff Buckley's version, not because of the lyrics, but the composition is just beautiful.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AratTMGrHaQ

Also the composition of most Radiohead songs is just a pure emotional ride in my opinion..

Simple Man by Skynyrd says it all...Its like how I want to live my life haha...

Also the other day I heard the song Rise Above This by Seether.....The music video is pretty intense and emotional considering how his brother died of suicide

my most emotional song is Whistles the wind by Flogging Molly http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=kbn9d9j7UrI (stupid vid though...)
i heard this song a lot when i went through a hard time in my life and this song just fit perfectly to my situation at this time. so for me this would be the most emotional song ever.
