I especially like Herman Li. Saw him with Dragonforce in Amsterdam this year and I think they played really good and clean. However, I think there are better players, like for example Yngwie Malmsteen and Buckethead.

Well naturally I would say Paul Gilbert, for me he stands apart from the rest because he is totally musical with it, awsome phrasing and dynamics its the entire package. That said I think Buckethead is pretty darn awsome and he has some incredibly diverse albums under his belt.
