Not sure how to interpret "shredders" in this case but if we're dealing with insanely fast guys then Gilbert and Yngwie are my favorites. Other than that Andy Timmons, Christopher Amott and Norum are in my top 10.

I saw Buckethead live last summer and he was unreal. Like a guitar playing robot but in a good way like he was built to do it. I really like Jason Becker,a new greatest hits album came out not too long ago real good stuff check it out.
