Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey man, you improved on the last section.. the chords are the proper length now.

You're still getting a lot of extra noise between chord changes though. I've noticed that one of the main culprits is your 1st finger triggering the open E when changing from the G5 chord.

The chord changed are still a bit awkward sounding, especially the A to A# bits.

I wonder if your right hand is too 'far away' from the strings during the chord changing as it doesn't appear to do any muting. Could just be the video perspective ?

Hey amigo! smile.gif Ben has spotted the issues, but indeed, this take is better than the previous one wink.gif

You should eliminate the unwanted string noise and all will be well - keep in mind tho, that your execution should be as clean as possible at ANY given speed along this process, so do not overlook the idea of playing as clean and noiseless at all the available backing track speeds.

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Improvements are visible smile.gif Level of noise is smaller but still there. In the second half You do help muting with both hands. Maybe it's a good idea to add right hand resting on the string while those tiny break in the first part too ? smile.gif

Tip: 0:26 is a natural harmonic position so 1 finger is not enought to make complete silence. It would be hard to release all fingers and make hand straight for perfect muting. This mean that the right hand is the only support Youcan add to make perfect silence. Just rest on all of the strings while releasing all left hand fingers at the same time. This releates to all barre chords in this lesson. Cheers! smile.gif

Hi mate, I can notice an improvement in this take comparing it with the previous one. As the other instructors said, you still need to adjust details to make it sound perfect. For example, there is something weird sounding at 00:18, those fast changes are still giving trouble. Practice at slower tempos using the other backing tracks until you can play it tight.
Keep on the hard work.
