Hi, I hope everything is going well!

Deadline has been extended!

I've made a new backing track in the style of Ozzy Osbourne (early 90's) as a basis for a new collab,

So as usual, create your solo over the backing and be as creative as possible,

2, 3, or 1200 notes, it doesn't matter as long as what you do sounds right to you.

It's basically in Ebm (Both parts). So you can use Ebm pentatonic and maybe add a few extra notes (Make it dorian, aeolian, blues, etc.) In the second riff there's a hint for the use of dorian.

Take into account that you can use pauses and long notes!

Have fun!

Looking forward for your takes!

/Daniel

Extended deadline: 11th of december/2011

Make sure you upload a synchronised mp3. If you leave the initial count-in on the mp3 that's fine, so that I can sync it for the final mix.

It´s in Ebm! I´ve corrected it`

If you record a video then this could turn into a very cool video collab, so you are welcome to do so

Participants so far:

1 - Gabriel Leopardi
2 - Fireball
3 - Gitarrero
4 - Amir Razmara
5 - quadrium
6 - rhoads
7 - PeteLucifersAngels
8 - Ivan Milenkovic
9 - Todd Simpson

Hi there

Nice track, But it's too short, I feel it should be twice as long to give the chance to develop something.

Amir

Hi Amir, I know what you mean but I decided to leave like that to give it that spotlight solo feel, imagine a track by Ozzy where the solo appears at 3/4 of the song and the guitarist can go nuts! that´s what I thought of, and besides you have two repetitions to expose one idea and then develop it,

I can't believe I missed this one! Looks like the deadline was today but I"m not seeing a ton of posts yet so I thought I"d ask for an extension! Such a cool series of riffs! Just begging for lick/shred/blue/crazy anything.

Maybe a weeked extension to give everyone time? And me! smile.gif
