Hey muris, i just saw ur funk lesson:

you are making some chords here, it says 7/9, and is very similar to the "hendrix" chord, except the "hendrix" chord for example would be x7678x and that other chord would be x7677x, i use this chord a lot to play funk and blues, but don't really know the name ohmy.gif, is it E7/9? or that's the hendrix chord?

7/9 chord is made of minor 7th and major 9th,
it this case notes are D and F#, root is E.
With "Hendrix" chord you have +9 or augment 9th, note would be F##,
you might call it G since it sounds the same but that's F## actually,
this chord is usually written as 7/+9.
