Hello,
I'm Skip Goya, from Rhode Island, USA
I have a lot of vintage instruments,,,
I play an acoustic 1965 Goya guitar which I love and also have a very nice Morris acoustic also, and am looking for a vintage guild guitar.
For electric I play a Ibanez 1972 artist, a 1978 Ibanez CN 200, 1967 goya single cut-away hollow body guitar, a couple of vintage lap guitars and numerous mandolins.
I play them through vintage 1960's Ampeg amps....there is nothing like a tube amp, nothing can touch them, I believe, and even own a Leslie 120 roto speaker system.. my wife has accused me of being a hoarder.
I love all types of music as long as it is done welll...
I have played since 8 years old but dropped the guitarfor a number of years when I focused on the mandolin...
I want to learn to get back where I was and even better.... I play every night at least an hour.
I love the site and look forward to learning, and sharing.
thanks,
Skip Goya

If you're interested in learning all the chord triads on the neck, you can check out my Chord Sessions that just started. We will go position by position and learn all the chords with two important strumming patterns.

Also, we keep daily video chats, if you want to practice some pentatonics, stop by on Sunday (here's a countdown to the chat that will adapt to your time zone)

Hi Skip!! Welcome to the site! I'm sure that you will enjoy this place a lot. wink.gif
All that vintage stuff sounds very good! It would be great if you can post some videos here of you testing those amazing guitars and amps.

I'm currently giving an Intensive Technique Course every Friday at 19 hs at the Video Chat. You can check the Lesson Notes for the previous sessions.

You can also join my new Collaboration called "Power Metal Solo Collab".

And always use my Personal Board for questions, feedback and lesson requests wink.gif

Enjoy GMC!!
