Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great Christmas break, it's always great to be able to relax for a few days, but nonetheless, not a single day went by for me where I wasn't playing music. Anyway, I looked back at 2014 and decided to write a song about what this year meant for me. It's the last song I'll write this year, and there is no Christmas theme whatsoever, so please give it a listen and let me know what you think!

Lyrics:
Step out of your comfy home, life awaits.
Midnight and I'm still not home.
Making sense of all the shapes.
And after all my inquisitions and aspirations,
Succumb to reality.
Why can't we be more than that?
People and places, f**ked off our faces on a Friday night.
Life in transience, a blindfold over our eyes.
Floating in the moment like a trapeze hung high in the sky.
Making sense of the shapes.
And after all, the clarity hits us,
Succumb to reality,
But honestly,
I don't regret a thing,
So believe in me,
Please don't leave,
Stay with me.
Thanks for a wonderful year, fellow GMC'ers! I'm excited to see what 2015 will hold for all of us here Wishing you a happy new year.
Well done Taka! This is something I could listen at the Christmas time Relaxing and nice flowing el-piano that makes a good space on the "mix stage". I think songs like this could really sell well if sombody huge (business wise) would take an interenst to promot it Have a nice Christmas time mate!
Hi Taka! I just found this one. I have to say that it is a very interesting tune with a melancholic vibe. I like the groove that you used, it sounds a bit latin for me, do you have some latin influences? The guitar work is epic as always but I also enjoyed the fact that you decided to sing this one. Your voice sounds good over this track and fits great with the style and background.
Happy 2015!
Happy New Year Taka!
This was a very cool way to end 2014 - with a song!
I like the atmosphere and the contrast between guitars and busy drums.
Did you shoot that picture for the cover?
