Palm Muting 16th Notes, Lesson By Krisztian Lovrek |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Palm Muting 16th Notes by Krisztian Lovrek
Hey, I've done this one again after some comments from Ben. Thank you Ben for your advices. I hope my tone is not too "unusual" here (that's the word Ben uses when he means your tone sucks!) Hi friend! This is a good take and the improvement is very nototious! But let me say taht those 16th notes still could sound even tighter! Sometimes sound a bit irregular (not only the tempo, also the intensity). This will be improved with some more practice at a slower tempo. Another thing that you could review is your palm muting technique, you could mute the strings a bit more and put your palm closer to the bridge, to get a tone more similar to the one that Lovrek get in the original lesson.
