Today I received an offer to buy it, to be precise, to a barter for some of my equipment (100euros value) . Has anyone used this? I am, but long ago, and I remember that the battery lasted for half an hour. What are the new models ?

Supposedly one of the best wireless system available today is the Line6 Relay series. The performance of Line6 stuff is usually pretty good, but the dependability is horrendous. I've read though that this new series of wireless devices is pretty dependable, so maybe they're actually building decent products now.

I had a Samson guitar wireless a long time ago. Even then it wasn't bad except the noise gate cut off some of the dynamics of the signal. You'd loose a note sometimes before you were done sustaining it. The range was pretty good and it didn't pick up any spurious noise (lights, other RF, etc.) I'll bet these days the RF electronics are much better.

Hmm, not sure, it would be good to know the exact model, at least for looking up on the internet, to see what kind of device you are dealing here smile.gif

I would like to get a Wireless System... I think that Shure has some very good ones. I wonder about the quality of the line 6 ones... have anybody tried them?

Not sure about line6 ones, I think they use AD/DA converters? That doesn't sound that great to me.. Not that sound would be so much different, I guess hardly anyone will notice it, but not sure how this digital signal behaves when it enters digital, perhaps there isn't a way to achieve natural feedback or something, I know it's hard to do it with digital processor devices. Worth checking out tho, interesting devices, practical.

I don't know what Skillet uses, but they use a wireless system on some of their equipment, and everything seems to be okay when they play live. smile.gif
