Certain Distortion In A Song, Firewind - The Fire The Fury Options

I was listening to The Fire the Fury earlier, trying to learn the solo about halfway through, and I couldn't quite figure out which distortion he was using. It's a pretty simple "Wah" sort of sound, but I don't know the exact name of it. I've got a PocketPOD and Zoom 505 Guitar Distortion pedal, so I can probably reproduce this exact sound. Does anyone know what kind of distortion that is?

Do you mean that "wah" sound he starts a phrase with? I'm guess it's just that, a wah, he kicks it and release it, then foot off.
Just guessing. Maybe we get more suggestions.

And the Zoom 505 is not a distortion pedal, it's a multi effects pedal. That's why I'm guessing when you refer to which distortion he use you don't mean that but which effect rather.

Woops sorry, meant to write "Effect Pedal" but ended up writing "Distortion pedal", I was looking at a few online, I guess thats what did it.


I see, I guess I'll have to test out a bunch of things and see if I get the sound. Thanks!
