Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey mate,

Aside from a little bend which was a bit under pitched, somewhere around 0:12, I like your take very much smile.gif So, I will let Darius come in and tell you if he notices other things that he considers important, but technically you nailed it!

Keep rocking,

Cosmin

Hi man! Good job on this one! You are polishing it very fast. I can notice some bends that has little pitch issues but it's the only thing that I can mark, the overall is very good. Keep on the great work!

Hey Beat! Nice to see Your new take smile.gif It's a visible improvement comparing to the previous one smile.gif

Let me spot some moments that need tweaking:

0:15 - first tapped harmonic is not executed well
0:28 - this lick was not precise and there are some timming issues at this spot
0:33 - last note is played with no picking hand help smile.gif Try to make a very fluent connection without adding a pick stroke
0:56 and further - there are still some issues with picking direction. Doing alternate picking in those runs is not necessary best way to execute this part. It based more on the sweep like motion but not economy movements. The mechanism is: down down down if You go from low to high strings or up up up with opposite direction.
There is not only technical but a tone/dynamics aspect hidden under the way I played it smile.gif

Final lick with legato also is not precise yet - I'm sure You know because even Your facial experession at this point says it all biggrin.gif

Sorry for being very detailed but as far as it's my lesson it's easy for me to catch important things I was thinking about while doing this lesson smile.gif Well done! smile.gif
