Recording Equipment, help!

Jan 27 2008, 11:48 PM	GMC:er Posts: 4 Joined: 10-January 08 From: Staten Island - New York	Hey GMC, I've been playing for a while now and have been writing down all my riffs and songs on paper by tab or using Guitar Pro so I figured it was about time I started recording some of my stuff.(especially cause I have to send in my recordings to get into Musicians Institute ) So i was wondering can someone point me in a good direction of some good recording gear. Reaper will work for free, they ask for money, a person should pay them the little they ask if they can afford it. You can just record on your laptop. I've been reading into the line6 toneport as of late cause it seems quite easy to use and suites my needs so far.
