Verse 1:
exhausted from the night
screaming from the light
the flickering of the flames that
dont give up without a fight
the walls are closing in
for this fight i cannot win
wishing that those flames would
tell me where i should begin

Verse 2:
the night has now gone on
still unsure where i belong
those dancing flames surround me
and theyve been there all along
when the light has darkened
the room just fades away
those flames are still around me
those flames are here to stay

Chorus:
misery loves company
but alls not what it seems to be
when i have lost myself
when i should think of nothing else
cause misery loves company
and everythings gone on to be
a different way of falling
a different way of knowing
how things have changed
but alls the same, yeah

a set of lyrics ive just wrote, im still trying to think of a title though...

its about how friends and family are always there to help you get through any problems, no matter how big or small

any comments, good or bad would be great biggrin.gif

This wasnt bad. Verse 1 was clearly better than Verse 2. And Verse 1 and 2 were way better than the Chorus.

The chorus seems like it it was kind of just randomly pieced together, it shows that it lacks the thought that was put into the first 2 verses. Thats just IMO though smile.gif

Not bad at all though biggrin.gif

the chorus does seem a little like that to me, but it makes alot more sense to me and those around me because they know exactly whats happened and whats going on and the chorus does portray it... the chorus was actually the first thing to be wrote and the thing that took the most time, the verses only took a few mins for the first draft biggrin.gif

cheers for the comment biggrin.gif
