Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

As you've already said, you have to pay attention to your right hand rhythm to be sure to play the whole lesson tight with the backing. I also note that the chord that is less comfortable is D, since it's the one that doesn't sound clear soon when you change it. May 18 2015, 06:26 PM	Instructor Posts: 5.871 Joined: 29-November 12 From: Poland	I know it's no excuse but you might feel better when you'll know it's a really hard task to keep perfect timming when there is no "stable groove" on drums or some accents on cymbals distract you. Professionals have some issues with this as well. Somewhere in the end of first part you go out of sync with backing track but there are some specific hi-hat accents there and it's really easy to mess the timming there. You need to focus twice as much and try to trust yourself - you can do it Sometimes when we play in band we have those sort of moments when we have to keep the rhythm without a metronome or drummer's sticks etc... The D chord is a bit awkward for you in some places... I think it's the change from another chord to a D that's slipping you up. Both of these things will just get better ass you do it more and more. They're only minor issues which are soon solved. Your strumming technique is really good. It's very relaxed and flows just how it should. Your fretting hand looks efficient as well.
