Posted by: Ralleliciouz May 1 2008, 10:05 AM

Hi GMC:)

i just checked out Guitar-idol.co.uk/ and Muris and David are not in the top 10!

i made this topic because i hope somebody at GMC will also make some accounts and vote for them like i am going to do. i know Muris and David already has made a topic each but they need more votes:(

so what do you guys say? do you have a half "spare hour"?smile.gif

It doesn't fully matter if they are in top 10 or not as only number 1 goes through automatically. The rest 9 are chosen from.

I've already voted for both also and got my friends to also smile.gif

I think that they choose first 10 from the votes and then a number of judges decide who's the "best" right?

No. It is the 1st that goes through to the final as the fans favourite and then all other entries are judged by a panel to make up the other 9 in the final. The final takes place in London and has 10 participants. Just because you're in the top ten doesn't mean you're through to the final.

Negative, someone with 1 vote has as much chance as someone with 600 votes. As long as the judges decide they are good enough.

Well, that's also not true, they said in the article that while votes won't come too much into consideration, they are a factor, because they rightfuly say that today you have to know how to promote yourself, so I doubt they'll pick someone with only a few votes..

I think some of the people with higher votes entered the compeition earlier. I have no doubt "our boys" will catch up smile.gif
