Hey hey hey !
It's time for a student collab !! Now that we're used to slow collabs recently - let's kick start new year with a fast METAL \m/ \m/ student collab ! Here's a backing track for download. https://soundcloud.com/alfafirefox/xmas-is-over-collab Soloing part starts at 0:30 seconds. First D-minor and second part is in G Locrian (I think) but D minor is the main key. Audio only ! Everyone can join ! Tempo is 180bpm. This is just for fun so maybe any feedback of your playing is not given  So like in every collab I need an isolated wav or mp3 of your solo. Cool collab! That deadline is gonna be a bit quick for me though. But Can't wait to hear how it all turns out!

Wow...nice and Heavy. Like it a lot! I was rather expecting something with snare through all the 16th notes in each bar

this is a fantastical backing track!
I'm still drywalling my studio so I'm not set-up to record til next week sometime. If I can get my act together, I'll post my take, whether it ends up in the collab or not cheerios! -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!

Hi mate, the backing is very good. I think that the deadline was too early based on the fact that we had end of year and all the things that come around that. We used to give 15 days for collabs and it worked so if you can extend this one you will surely have more takes!
