Awesome Jam TJ, i just have to tell you i love listening to you play, both my bandmates and I agree that you have a very "Mature" sound for your age, i love your subtle use of vibrato and bending schemes in your improv. And your fret touch is very mature in its sound and texture. Keep it up bro!

Awesome Tjchep! laugh.gif

Some really authoritative playing here!

I digged your take on the Gary Moore collab too.

Great phrasing.
I really like your vibrato and your bending. Way to go! biggrin.gif

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.

What i mean by fret touch is how you attack and release a note even when not using a bend or Vibrato, most beginners, and even some intermediate players when they land on a note, have a tendency to make it just hit the note, but when you land on a note the way you touch the fret gives it a smooth sound and it doesnt sound dead.

Its a very subtle thing, i like to think of it as mini-vibrato, even though your not really using vibrato its a very subtle movement of the string when landing on a note you are not bending or using vibrato on but it sounds like it has emotion and movement.

Hope that makes sense.

Daniel
