She is a pop song writer and was in a band called 4 Non Blondes. She has written hit songs for Pink and others. Through the REPOST service on soundcloud, you can pitch to various labels, people, etc. each month. You don't have to have a paid account to get this ability. Here is a link to make the pitch.
