Well, maybe making a GMC profile on MySpace isn't a bad idea at all...

But actually we have to make a video of instructors playing different styles pieces in one 2 minutes long video and put it on MySpace. Doesn't sound bad ha?

you would have to make a gmc accout...you would have to just make those codes to make it transfer to your myspace by copy and paste

It's free exposure for GMC. -But even better is the networking aspect -us guitarists tend to find each other as friends just like we all have here on GMC. For example, many of my friends on Myspace are local musicians. Maybe if they were looking at my friends list one day and saw GMC they might be interested. I know at least a few that just like my self are not satisfied with the local teachers. Just like Kris putting videos on ultimate-guitar.com targets people who are likely to be interested in GMC, Myspace could work a similar way.

Here's another example, an aspiring young guitarist goes to see a local band and is impressed by the awesome shredding of the lead guitarist. Later, they go to find the band's myspace page to learn more. From there, they find the personal page of the guitarist and then see that he takes lessons from GMC. Every time that band plays then becomes an opportunity for more people to find out about GMC.

I was thinking of a similar idea, but instead of MySpace, a Youtube video.

For example, lets say i get to master completely a lesson in particular. So i record myself playing the lesson at the normal tempo. And when im done, i should say something like this (just like kris does in alot of Youtube videos):

"Hey, im (name here) and im a student from GMC.net. In GMC you'll be able to learn tons of licks, riffs, and lessons just like the one you just saw me play, plus even more stuff! So what are you waiting for? Come visit us at GMC.net!"

what do you guys think?
