Not going to say too much. It started out as me redoing an old song of mine, In The Sea Of Sand, and turned into something much different. Based off the Carl Sagan book/ movie of the same name.

Twenty four and one are scanning the black
Waiting for an alien voice
A crushing amount of failed endeavors
Is this all for nothing?

Structured pulsation

Mathematical in nature

Words in harmonics
We have contact

The world does not know
And so they fear
Casting doubt on my beliefs

To dethrone our cosmic truth

With bated breath
I impatiently wait
Will I be the one to go?

Forced through space and time
Faster than light
Words are not enough
I had no idea
Struck silent
In awe

nice song! these Eastern sounding scale are always so effective, I use a couple in my own stuff every now and then
