I'm afraid I have to agree with that one... I don't care how light they are or how well they stay in tune, I don't think I could ever see myself playing one of those!
And, what? How are Strats and Jaguars ugly?

lol!!! USAMAN, my very first guitar was sooo much like that! seriously lol!! it was about 24 years ago and certainly not a fender, but same colour/scratchplate etc, I took it all apart and painted it with emulsion
OMG! I`ve just had a thought, what if it was a Fender and I just ruined a vintage thing that could be worth loads of dosh now *goes off wondering with a possible tear in eyes*

That's actually a fairly sought after guitar. Even the new models of the jazzmaster/ jaguar sell for over 1000 bucks. My college roomate had one and it actually played nice and sounded good. go figure.

Particularly the one i posted, the color is similar to that of unhealthy pee
Secondly, i hate strats with a passion. they feel so ugly, and they look so ugly, unless there all white with a black pickguard (and pure white, not the faded old ugly white), or a dark red, i hate them dearly.
But damnit, the good ones sound so awesome

Yeah it is actually a decent guitar. I like them.

Price has nothing to do with beauty. I have just never like that fender body style (jazzmasterbater). IMHO ugly horrid eyesore.

There is a certain level of ugly that eventually falls off the scale and starts over again. I think the fish guitar may be in that catagory...now I want one. I would for sure take it on stage.

And USAMAN, I agree about the price thing, but I also find a look of functionality and ruggedness very attractive in a guitar. Some you can look at and just tell they're not good guitars. There's probably only one or two of those in this thread but I think a beat up old strat from 40 years ago is really an awesome looking thing. Just IMO of course

I think the Gibson ES335 is horrid,
Dean ML, I don't like the burst finish. The fire/lightning one is fine.
The Dean les paul copy, can't recall it's name.
Mosrite/univox
Ibanez Xiphos/IC400, that said I think they're horridly ugly but I <3 them just the same

If that didn't have the ugly thing sticking out where the pickup selector is, it'd actually kind of be cool in a danelectro kind of way.
The telecaster isn't a "cute" guitar like a JEM but it does look pretty badass IMO.

I saw one on stage recently at a concert and it just looked ridiculous to me. Meanwhile, the Eclipse II is mean as could be and sounds great.

Yep that guitar that looks like a bathroom floor is very expensive.The guy that made them stoped and maybe even passed away.His family has selected a very few people that can start remaking this type of design.Although it does look very funky
i'm sure this thing would really rock and me a sweet playing guitar
