If you like what you hear, please share. It seems nobody really knows about me. I am getting mixing and mastering lined out behind the scenes. Maybe once I start releasing music my publicity will start exploding.

Dude you really need some hard work for being famous / well known.
Register into many of those music forums, be active and get forum friends who might know somebody in music business. I.E. band members etc...
Because now days if you post a your song into forum hardly nobody comments it if you're new there. Okay if you can do serious masterpiece. ( No doubt you will some day )
More friends - Then you get more hits.
And gather you songs into Ep which is professional mastered. You'll get more positive feedback.
But really good stuff
P.s.
What about our collab ?

I look forward to you finding an awesome vocalist to collaborate with.

Pretty good it sounds professional. I'd have the drums or certain drums like the Bass just a tad louder in the mix though, that might be personal preference.

Thanks again guys. I'm having this song mixed and mastered by WideK. I am curious to hear his quality on my work. I like his work even if he's no pro with lots of hardware. I have a small budget right now...and a long way from actually producing an EP. But I dream of this and will use more professional resources.

WideK is a cool dude, and does some pretty high quality work. Honestly, I'd let him him run your DI's (if you have any) through his software, he nails some pretty wicked tones.

Aw man, I wish I would have thought of that. I will next time. I will record DI's along with my tone next time. He DOES have some wicked tones, indeed. I'm trying to figure out what to do. I have this song and Surge I would like to release as singles I guess. I say this because I want to start working on an EP after that. I guess that is not weird to have two unrelated songs released?

Which of course is not really what mastering is about.

Well of course not, but one of his main services is DI + impulses, and does it fairly cheap. More of a suggestion seeing as its not mastered yet, so I presume the mixing stage is still in process.
C'mon Tony, I've asked you far too many questions for that

All my solos stink. I want someone who can shred like Paul Wardingham, Andy James, Keith Merrow, or Jeff Loomis. It would be awesome if I could get Keith Merrow to solo. I actually planned to ask him.

You're joking, right ? They most definitely do not !
You've got amazing potential as a great guitarist.. we all know that here at GMC
On another note, you'll be surprised by how open some people are so it's always worth asking Keith Merrow, he's just a person after all. And he's done the same thing himself

A lot of these guitarists have home recording rigs to do guest solos and session work via the internet, it make is a lot more affordable than you might think
