Since this is the subforum related to movies etc., I thought of adding this topic. Here people post the movie they last saw and what they thought of it. When a lot of people do this, maybe we can get some new movies to watch, or give each other recommendations, or ...
I hope you get the point.

So, let's start:

I watched Machete a couple of days ago. I watched it for the second time, because I think it's way too awesome biggrin.gif The movie is too blown up to be taken serious, but that's the point. And I like that!

So, what movies did you watch recently?

Last one I watched was "The mechanic", with Jason Statham. Nothing great, just some action movie like many others. Was entertaining at least.

I find it hard to watch good movies since acouple years ago. I believe most of the talen has moved to TV series these days. Just my 2 cents.

I watched Harry Potter and the Deatly Hallows Part 1 for the second time. I kinda disappointed with the movie because producers put all the action into the Part 2.

Zeitgeist 3 was the last I watched. It's OK, nothing special, tho I like the way it is edited.

Before that, not sure, I watched lots of movies last couple of months, and rarely I could find something that I liked, new movies are terrible..

I find most movies mediocre at best, so I've become more selective in what I actually watch. Unless I'm tired and I want to turn of my brain, then I'll watch something with lot's of explosions rolleyes.gif

Best movie I saw the last couple of months would have to be 127 hours. I really liked that one.

I watched that for the first time a few weeks ago.. very weird isn't it ? smile.gif

The last movie I watched was RED, with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovitch and Helen Mirren... it's about these retired assassins showing the young guns how it's done. Really good. It's sort of an action comedy.. almost like 'The Whole 9 Yards' but less silly and more violent cool.gif

Swedish films which are some of the best I have seen in a long, long time. Warning though, they are graphic - but the journey is stupendous. First set of films to really stand out in a while.

I recently watched "Source Code" and "Limitless". No great moves but Limitless was kind of fun.
I'm currently in a mood of watching TV series like Friends etc smile.gif)

I watched Sucker Punch, definitely recommend it. Great action scenes, nice girls and the story is much better than most people say it is.
I also watched Battle: LA and was totally disappointed, really boring movie I have to say.

I wish I was drunk when I watched it but I wasn't smile.gif .. No idea why it is being given good reviews all around.

Oh, and the worst 2 hours that i recently spent was when I watched Kings speech.

Still waiting for a movie that has the WOW factor. Hasn't happened in a long time.

Yeah, that movie was everywhere but there's nothing about it that makes me want to watch it.. I guess I'll catch it on tv a few years from now ! wink.gif

I agree about the WOW factor.. I don't think there's been a decent action thriller since the Bourne series. Nothing's ever going to top them ! cool.gif
