Hey guys !

I guess you've only seen a picture of "my" guitar, on a Fender website, but as I've changed the pickguard, the looks are slightly different. I've taken photos using my new Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 (!) biggrin.gif and I hope the quality is sufficient.

I've basically taken picture of my Fender American Standard Stratocaster, overview and in greater detail, and my Line 6 POD Studio GX with the guitar cable I use (Planet Waves).

For those who're interested in seeing the guitar in detail, there are pictures of the nut, saddle, neck relief, pickups, controls, headstock, etc. I'm not sure if this is going to be of any help, but at the same time you can see the guitar... smile.gif

I guess my shopping extravaganza is terminated now, so I will not be posting any more tedious over-enthusiastic topics on the GMC forums for a while. biggrin.gif

Alexander

Very cool. The neck looks like it would be good for my hand even though I rarely find stratocaster that feels nice when I play.

Hahaha, well talk to Muris about it. It's easier to transport guitar to Bosnia than the amp. Muris has an amp and about 5-6 guitars btw.

Are you sure that's AMERICAN STANDARD??? Either it's american vintage series (or sth like that) or standard mexican.

21 frets, 6 point vintage tremolo, sounds like a standard mexican to me...

American Standards have had 22 frets and 2 point tremolos since early 90's or even earlier.

Where did you buy it?

Thanks, Trey ! The Line 6 POD Studio GX is what used to be called a toneport... Basically you can play your guitar only with the little POD connected to your PC ! Loads of effects and amp models, so extremely good for recording ! When combined with an audio editing (DAW) software, like Reaper, it does wonders ! biggrin.gif

Well, it said on the receipt that it's American Standard. It might be a new model, 2008 or something, but I don't know. I bought it at a Guitar Center in Los Angeles... smile.gif

I one way to determine is the price (new): around 1200 is the american standard strat, around 500 is the MIM (made in mexico) strat from what I saw when window shopping these.
