Hi all

i am looking to buy a decent in quality acoustic guitar , i have been playing electric for 5 years and would say i am an intermediate player.

Would love to start playing some acoustic songs.

Price range would be £300 - £400 or cheaper.

What would be my best options ?

Help is much appreciated.

Hi all

My amp has been making a ticking noise which i believe is to do with the vibrato.

The ticking noise is present even when the vibrato is not engaged and the vibrato wont work at all.

How much do think it will cost to fix this?

Thanks Very Much.

Hi all

Would i be correct in saying that the A Ionian major Scale is the same as the F# Aeolian Minor Scale.

They seem to have identical patterns , just in a different position on the fretboard

So really now i got the minor scale pattern its just a case of moving it around to play a major scale.

so For example to play the A major scale , i play the same patterns as the A minor just starting from the F#

help much appreciated.

Hi there

I spent about 4 hours practicing yesterday , i did not feel any pain during practice but a few hours after i had pain in my wrist and a bit of pain in my hand.

There doesnt seem to be any pain in the fingers.

Its still sore today , its the first time i have ever had anything like this and was wondering what advice you could give.

Will it heal up and go away over time or will i need to get it checked out?

Bit worried it will have an overall affect on my performance because i cant practice and will lose technique.

Many Thanks

Hi there

I played probley my dream amp a few days ago a marshall vintage modern. it did everything i wanted classic rock and blues tone.

I was going to buy one recently but couldnt decide if i should be buying a half stack or a combo. I play small to medium size gigs. The combo has the same speakers that i would use if i bought a stack (G12 speakers).

I am not sure what to go for , as both seemed to have the same tone in the store but of course i didnt get a chance to use them on a gig.

What is everyones opinions on a combo vs a stack? which would i be best going for.

Help is much appreciated
Many Thanks
