Engl Fireball For Hardrock?

Im thinking about buying a engl fireball. i get a good offer, but i dont know if this is the right one. most repords in the www are from metal-gitarrists but im playing much hardrock and red hot chily peppers, guns and roses and stuff like this... do you think thats a cool amp for that kind of music? All ENGL amps have a good or decent rock sound, even the Fireball and Powerball but they are mainly aimed for Metal. Also play an ENGL before you buy one, they have their own sound which is very modern and cold, you may love but you might aswell don't like it! IMO, the Screamer (and surely other Engl amps except the most metallish ones) can deliver any kind of tone you want, unless you want every tone to sound like the amp was built for just THAT tone (if you catch my drift ).
