Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Second try ;) I got some fresh strings and I hope I hit the right notes this time. Tried to improve the things you told me last time, so I hope its good. Sorry for bad light, I recognized it when I did cut un movie maker, if it is an issue please tell and I redo it.

This was an improvement over your first take. Your string bends are getting better and so is your vibrato.

The guitar was still a bit out of tune.. when you tune up the guitar, try stretching the strings few times by pulling them off of the fretboard by about an inch and a half. When you do this, you will keep having to tune them back up but after a few times of doing this they will settle as they get used to the tension. Do this for every string until you get to the point where the pitch doesn't change too much when you stretch them.

Keep working on bending as much as you can as well. smile.gif

This is quite good, and your tone is very nice here. Well played within the proper timing limits. The problems occur on the bends, you need to bend the note precisely in pitch, and it will be OK. Again, the guitar needs to be in tune..

Nice take friend!! Good timing, tone and feeling. The most important thing to fix in this one are your bends. You don't reach the correct pitch when you do them.. in most of them you bend a bit less the string.

You can find a bending exercise in the homework that I gave for this week: HERE

It is sound pretty good! You need to keep working on you vibrato and bending
A good exercise to do is to find a note on the neck and try bending note next to it so it sounds the same
for example if you are bending try to find a not the you are bending to play it first and than match pitch
